WP-Script sites can use different video players and plugin versions. There is no single guaranteed universal WP-Script VAST setting, so locate the advertising controls in the actual theme/player configuration.
Locate the player
- Check the site's WP-Script theme and video-player settings.
- Find a field labeled VAST tag, Video ads, Pre-roll ad, or a third-party player integration.
- Confirm the selected player supports third-party VAST 3.0 Inline MP4 advertising, including its click and skip behavior.
Deploy a test
- In MEDIARAZZI copy a known working single-commercial VAST URL.
- Back up your WordPress settings.
- Paste the URL into the correct ad tag field, not the media embed or video source field.
- Clear website/page/CDN caches and test a video page in a fresh browser session.
- Verify the ad starts, skips when appropriate, opens the destination, and then hands off to content.
- Repeat on mobile and with the site's embedded/mass-imported videos.
Using Ad Pods
Test with an individual commercial first. Switch to a sequential Ad Pod only after your exact player version demonstrates two ads in one break. Theme, plugin or player upgrades may change support.
Revenue tracking
MEDIARAZZI logs playback beacons, not actual affiliate transactions or guaranteed ad earnings. Affiliate reporting remains in your affiliate network.
