Most publishers should use the short tag URL. Advanced Tag Builder supports additional information about the request:
https://ads.mediarazzi.com/vast/YOUR_PUBLIC_KEY?sid=tube02&subid=homepage&platform=web&placement=preroll
| Parameter | MEDIARAZZI meaning |
|---|---|
sid |
Publisher/source/site identifier chosen by you |
subid |
Secondary source or placement label |
placement |
Declared placement category, e.g. preroll |
platform |
Integration platform, e.g. web, roku |
app_id |
App or channel identifier, when supplied |
content_id |
Identifier for the video/program carrying the ad |
These are MEDIARAZZI-defined reporting fields, not global VAST-standard request parameter names. Other systems may use sid, cid, or subid differently. Do not assume foreign tag conventions apply here.
Important limitation
Appending placement=midroll does not schedule a mid-roll. It labels a request. The player must schedule that ad break.
Signed tracking context
MEDIARAZZI adds an encoded, signed ctx parameter to its measurement URLs so that the server can associate player-reported events with the original request attribution. The values do not have to appear as plain sid= and subid= on every beacon. Do not remove or rewrite the signed context.
Don't leak personal information
Use non-personal IDs for sites and placements. Do not put usernames, email addresses, passwords, raw device identifiers, or other sensitive data into public tag URLs. Advertising identifiers require appropriate consent, privacy controls, and platform-policy compliance.
