Plyr is a lightweight HTML5 media player UI. Some Plyr releases or integrations expose advertising options, often through Google IMA or additional plugins. Do not assume every Plyr installation has working VAST support by default.
Checklist
- Identify the version and advertising extension used by your site.
- Confirm that the extension accepts a VAST ad tag URL and handles player-to-ad transitions.
- Paste a simple MEDIARAZZI commercial tag.
- Test the ad with a user gesture and confirm tracking.
- Validate sequential pods separately if needed.
Plyr’s interface and the underlying advertising adapter may each have their own limitations.
