Video.js + Google IMA

A mainstream HTML5 integration pattern for tube and publisher sites.

Video.js provides the HTML5 player interface; the Google Interactive Media Ads (IMA) SDK handles VAST ad playback when correctly integrated. A bare Video.js player does not automatically know how to play VAST XML.

Integration approach

  1. Confirm that your site uses Video.js and has a supported IMA/ads plugin installed.
  2. Find its ad tag URL configuration option.
  3. Paste an individual MEDIARAZZI VAST URL or a pod tag only if the integration supports Ad Pods.
  4. Initialize advertising on the required user gesture, especially on mobile.
  5. Confirm the content resumes after the ad.
  6. Inspect Google IMA callbacks, errors and the MEDIARAZZI event report.

IMA ad-manager initialization, content-playback coordination, autoplay and volume must match the specific integration's version. Do not copy code blindly into every WP-Script theme.
