Create and protect an API key

What you need to know

API keys allow a developer application to call the authenticated MEDIARAZZI API on your account’s behalf.

Step by step

1. Open Developer Tools and select Developer API.
2. Give the key a useful name.
3. Choose read-only permissions unless the application truly needs write access.
4. Generate the key and copy it to a password manager or secure secret store.
5. Send it as an Authorization: Bearer header from server-side code.
6. Revoke keys that are exposed or no longer needed.

Tips and common mistakes

• Never paste an API key into a public webpage, support ticket, or screenshot.
• The API may return a JSON authorization error if you browse it without credentials; that can be expected.
